Hillcrest Care Center
Heather is the administrator at Hillcrest Care Center in Laurel. She began employment with RHD in September 2011. Heather has been around nursing homes her whole life. She became a nurse aide and a medication aide in June of 2001. She was a nurse aide at Ponderosa Villa in Crawford, a med aide at Regional West Medical Center Assisted Living in Scottsbluff, a med aide at Bickford Cottage in Omaha, a med aide at Comfort Care Homes in Omaha, a med aide at Elk Ridge Village in Omaha, a med aide at Brookestone Meadows in Omaha, and a med aide at the Wilber Care Center in Wilber.
I have an associates degree in science, and continued to go to school for a major in biology, and a minor in chemistry with hopes of going to medical school. I then changed my mind and attended Clarkson College in Omaha for my Bachelors degree in Science for Nursing. I then decided again that really was not the way I wanted to go, and decided that I really enjoy the elderly population and that a Nursing Home and Assisted Living administrator would be the best option for me. I then obtained my associates Nursing Home, and Assisted Living Administrators license.
I live in Laurel with my husband Chris. We currently do not have any children, but we do have many nieces and nephews that we enjoy spending time with. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family. I also enjoy playing golf, piano, and spending time at the lake
